What is Introspective Breathwork®️ Therapy?

Introspective Breathwork®️ is a self care tool... this is a practice that invites you to step into a profound relationship with yourself. It's an opportunity to cultivate awareness of your thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations; allowing yourself to develop understanding of your inner world while also integrating safety within your body. I believe that you are whole and able as you are; holding a trauma-informed space for your personal expansion. This is a gooey liminal  space that bends somatic practices and meditation into a beautifully unique experience for everyone who dedicates time to the practice. 

As you breathe, I invite you to witness the constant chatter of your mind without becoming entangled in it. You'll learn to observe your thoughts as mental constructs, rather than getting caught up in their narrative. You'll bring attention to sensations that surface to attention, allowing yourself to tap into subtle cues that often get overlooked. What do  these sensations need from you? Is it a self-soothing touch? A deeper breath? Softer exhale? How about a scream... or a movement? By tuning into these sensations, you'll gain insight into what's really driving your emotions and behaviors – and what's holding you back from living a more authentic life.

When connecting with your breath, you may feel uncomfortable being truly seen - triggers in your nervous system may induce a range of responses. ​This is a trauma-informed safe space to confront whatever is calling for your attention with compassion; it may have been stored within you for years. You'll begin to unravel the threads of conditioning that have shaped your perceptions and behaviors – and discover new pathways towards freedom and empowerment.

Through Introspective Breathwork®️, you can access and integrate fragmented aspects of your self, fostering a deeper innerstanding and balance between contrasting facets of the psyche. By harnessing the embodied experience of conscious breathing, you can transcend the binary thinking that often separates our rational and emotional selves, cultivating a unified sense of self through the reconciliation of opposing forces within. 

Through this journey, you may find that:

  • Your stress levels decrease as you learn to manage tension more effectively

  • You become more compassionate and understanding of yourself 

  • Your creativity and inspiration begin to flow more freely

  • You develop a stronger sense of autonomy and motivation

This space is not about changing who you are; it's for becoming your own observer – allowing clarity and compassion to flow. It's an invitation to rediscover your innerself, release whatever may be creating resistance, and unfold into the most vibrant version of yourself.

During these sessions I use tarot to bring support or focus from the energies of the Universe to your integration. We may also dive into your astrological birthchart or human design placements to bring some further insight to your specific situation.
